Keep shafts clean and burr-free, machine the bores and keyways to the approved drawing, align the shafts before fitting the flexible element, verify the final hub spacing, and inspect the element during planned maintenance. Investigate unusual heat, noise, dust generation or repeated element damage rather than simply replacing the wear component.
